Eve Fleishman engages the listener with her sultry sweet sounds of original jazz-folk-pop. Some have likened her to New York 50’s diva Blossom Dearie<\/a>, though Eve’s light girlish voice is as much a flavor of her Southern and cross-country American roots. East meets west – from Nashville to San Francisco to NYC – she sings of peace, love, community and a sense of place.<\/p>\n

Born in North Carolina, raised in Florida, Eve developed a wanderlust that eventually took her from Berklee College of Music (Boston) to Nashville. She spent many years writing and recording in Music City, releasing original kids\u2019 music with her duo, Eve and Mare<\/a> and her first solo album, Peace or Drama<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Eve\u2019s music has been played on radio stations world-wide (including XM) and she has appeared live on both TV and radio, including NPR, Mitch Albom Show<\/em> and Art of the Song<\/em>. She has graced the stage of renowned venues such as Eddie\u2019s Attic (Atlanta), Cain\u2019s Ballroom (Tulsa), The Salon (Philadelphia), Ryman Auditorium (Nashville), The Mint (Los Angeles) and Cairo Jazz Club (Egypt).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Eve embarked on a national tour of her highly-acclaimed project, Peace or Drama, A Journey Through Music and Art<\/em><\/a>, with 13 original songs and paintings. This unique experiment of “art inspires art” received national attention and raised thousands of dollars for PeaceTones<\/em><\/a> charity.<\/p>\n

In San Francisco, Eve garnered praise for her new Atmospheric Epic<\/em><\/a>\u00a0album, with songs about that sparkling, romantic city by the bay. Her single, “City Light<\/a>,” was featured at the SF Giants games. In addition to her performances, Eve leads songwriting workshops<\/a> and teaches yoga<\/a> for singers\/musicians and the general public. She recently moved to Manhattan and looks forward to exploring music in NYC.<\/p>\n
