Terms for Retreat:
- A non-refundable deposit of $450 holds your spot. Space is limited to 6-12 guests.
- Listed price is per person, based on double occupancy. Add $700 for a single occupancy room.
- The deposit is due upon registration.
- The full balance payment is due 45 days before retreat starts.
We recommend obtaining travel insurance. We regret that we cannot offer any type of refund if you are injured, need to leave the retreat early, are delayed and arrive late, or are unable to attend the retreat on short notice.
Cancellation 45 – 30 days from start of retreat
Between 45 – 30 days from the start of scheduled Yoga Retreat = $495 cancellation fee (non-refundable deposit + $45 admin).
Cancellation less than 30 days from start of retreat
Less than 30 days from the start of scheduled Yoga Retreat = NO REFUND. We strongly recommend travel insurance for this reason.
A minimum of 6 participants is required. If an entire group retreat must be postponed as a result of insufficient signup, Covid-19 related travel restrictions, or other extraordinary circumstances at anytime prior to the retreat start date, there are no fees or cost increases for such postponement. Any individual guest who cancelled before a retreat is postponed will be able to apply their previously paid fees and re-register for the postponed retreat. Guests will be responsible for their own flight changes and any fees their airline may impose.
Inability To Join Postponed Retreat
If you cannot or do not wish to attend the postponed dates your deposit will be refunded. If already paid in full, we will work as your advocate with our many suppliers to return as much pre-paid expenses as possible to you, but no particular reimbursement amount can be guaranteed in advance.
If an entire group retreat is cancelled, and no postponement date within 18 months is provided, students will be refunded all their previous payments, even if the student had cancelled their space prior to the retreat being cancelled. Guests will be responsible for their own flight changes and any fees their airline may impose.
Late arrival or early departure from retreat
In the event that your arrival to or departure from the retreat is delayed for any reason (including, but not limited to: weather, mechanical difficulties, airline delays, political unrest, etc.), we cannot offer any refunds or compensation for any losses incurred. It is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain travel insurance if they so desire. We will make every attempt adjust the retreat and provide assistance in such instances. Participant is responsible for all incurred transportation and airline fees associated with late arrival or early departure.
Partner Resort/Hotel and Tour Modifications:
If at anytime before Retreat start date, we determine that a partner resort/tour company is not meeting service and/or facility requirements (under construction, fire or weather damage, change of ownership, etc.), we reserve the right to substitute an alternate partner resort/tour company of equal or greater quality.
In the instance that a scheduled instructor is not able to attend retreat, we reserve the right to substitute an alternate certified yoga instructor, or reduce the number of yoga instructors scheduled. No refunds are provided for reduced number of instructors or substitute instructors.
All group events, activities, and transfers are paid for at time of booking. Therefore, we are unable to offer refunds for any unused portion of the retreat. If weather or any other event causes an excursion or activity to be cancelled, we will make every effort to reschedule that event or find and alternative, but cannot offer refunds for any itinerary changes or cancellations.
A valid passport is required to enter Portugal. It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure that they have all proper documentation for the duration of the retreat.
Additional services and charges
Travelers are responsible for all additional charges incurred at resorts that are not specified in packages. These items can include, but are not limited to: gratuities, any additional food or beverages, additional tours or spa treatments, laundry service, communication services, etc. It is the responsibility of the traveler to understand what items are included in the retreat, and what items are additional. Any such charges must be paid before departure of the resort/hotel.
Changes to policies
We reserve the right to review and adjust terms and policies. Refer to the terms posted at time of retreat.
